The name was chosen for a number of reasons.

First and foremost, since we do such a wide

range of musical styles, we didn't want the name

to reflect any one style in particular.

Second, "Blind Date" was the name of a Rolling

Stones bootleg album.

And last but not least, 5 or 6 years ago,
